Any previous repair to the AIP system or update ECU could causes a miscommunication with the bypass module , this could include:
Performance MAF sensor (A OEM replaced MAF sensor will not cause an miscommunication)
Updated/Re-flashed ECU (usually performed by a Toyota service tech or dealership)
Our Kit includes:
Bypass Module - simple plug-in installation - no need to cut or solder wires, easily removed when running your vehicle on-road where emission system is required.
Operates during ignition startup by bypassing the initial tests that determine if the AIP system is to startup.
Starts running as soon as the ignition is switched on, and automatically disengages after 12 seconds.
Module is a solid-state electronic system, with a functional temperature range from -40 to +185 Degrees F, and fully encapsulated in epoxy resin.  Wiring harness is approximately 24" long, protected with wire loom.
Block-Off Plates (2 included) - made from 304 Stainless Steel, prevents exhaust gasses from leaking back into the AIP valves.
For all codes associated with the Bypass module you ‘must’ install the exhaust block-off plates.  We highly recommend installation of the block-off plates in all circumstances! Plates are required to prevent future issue from occurring.

Contrary to what my competitor will have you believe, there is little or no value in attaching an additional wire to the ignition system on your vehicle.  Yes, this does allow you to turn on your ignition without starting the car, but why in the world would this be of any concern?   If you're just looking to play your radio, every car with an ignition switch has an 'accessory' position.  This has NO impact on my circuit.  Don't be fooled into thinking that this is an issue!
My competitor would have you believe that somehow his kit is the best solution because he was first to market.  If that matters that much to you, by all means, buy it!  If you're reading this doing a bit of pre-purchase investigation, I commend you - gather information, and make an informed decision - you can't go wrong with any of the current solutions on the market, including the do-it-yourself system that appeared well in advance of any 'kit'.   It honestly comes down to how much effort you want to get this installed in your vehicle.
The bypass plates can be a pain on some models
, but are a necessary component, so it's of no value to compare that aspect, however the installation of the module is substantially different.  Do you want to cut into a rather expensive and critical wiring harness, are you comfortable with soldering, or would you rather just
pop apart a single connector, and 10 seconds later, you're done?   That's the truth, and that choice is yours to make.  Forget the hype, do what's best for

Our product has been tested to the highest standards of quality, and is warranted for life to be free of defects in material or workmanship.  This warranty extends to the original purchaser only, and is not transferable.  This warranty applies only to our products that were purchased directly, or from an authorized distributor.  This warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, accidental damage, or alteration.  Warranty is void if the product has been tampered with in any way.   Contact us prior to returning products for warranty claims.
RETURNS POLICY

Should you wish to return our product for any reason, we accept returns within 14 days of the original purchase.  Please contact us prior to returning your product.  Product must be in new / like new condition, and all parts returned in their original condition, and original packaging.  20% restocking fee required on all returns.  All returns must be made via trackable shipping method (eg, USPS Priority Mail, UPS, FedEx).  Shipping costs will not be refunded, buyer must pay all return shipping fees.
